In January we launched our newest flavor, Pineapple Turmeric, and people are loving it. It's time to take a look at what makes this flavor so great. We infused these two flavors in to our ACV to give you even more health benefits while you drink; multitasking at its finest. Here's a simple breakdown of the benefits turmeric and pineapple can have on your health.

Turmeric:

One of it's most hailed benefits is that it contains curcumin. Curcumin is shown to have many powerful healing properties which include help with chronic pain and inflammation. Some other positive side effects are improvement of liver function, may help reduce the risk of cancer, support healthy cholesterol levels, and can aid in digestion.

It also contains a 26% daily value in manganese and 16% in iron when taking the recommended daily dose. It's also an excellent source of fiber, vitamin B6, potassium, and healthy amounts of vitamin C and magnesium. All of these things combined with curcumin makes it a healthy addition to any diet.

Pineapple:

We've always been a fan of pineapple over at Mother Beverage but fell more in love as we researched just what this fruit can do for our bodies. Health benefits of pineapple include immune system support, bone strength, eye health, digestion, and anti-inflammatory benefits.

A San Diego-based nutritionist, Laura Flores, had this to say about pineapple. “Pineapples contain high amounts of vitamin C and manganese. These tropical treats are also a good way to get important dietary fiber and bromelain (an enzyme). As well as having high amounts of manganese, which is important for antioxidant defenses, pineapples also contain high amounts of thiamin, a B vitamin that is involved in energy production."
